I have created the “Bird on a Wire” series out of the simple enjoyment of observing the birds out of my studio window. April Dusk is a hand painted and fused glass work with kiln-fired vitreous enameled bird and wire imagery, that contrasts, the translucent layers of glass with washes of citron, periwinkle, and butter cream: all of this, housed in a tiny window-like portal to another vista.
