I have created the “Bird on a Wire”, series out of the simple enjoyment of observing the birds out of my studio window. Lemurian Fog is a hand-painted and fused glass work. The birds look to be resting on wires against an otherworldly dimensional environment that shimmers with gold accents, aqua blue, and the sunset hues of tangerine and terracotta.

Kiln-formed glass, vitreous enamel, synthetic polymers.
