I have created the “Bird on a Wire”, series out of the simple enjoyment of observing the birds out of my studio window. “Honey Mellon Dew” is a hand-painted and fused glass sculptural wall art piece. The birds look to be taking in a serene landscape at dusk; in this kiln-formed glass window, that shimmers with gold accents, verdant green, and the sunset hues of strawberry and buttercream, we become the viewers of taking in a serene scene that includes the birds. A bit of a meta-scape.
