I have created the “Bird on a Wire”, series out of the simple enjoyment of observing the birds out of my studio window. “Sauna in Reykjavik” is a hand-painted and fused glass work. The birds look to be resting on wires against a lush emerald green landscape pulsating with geothermal life. The fused layers add dimension and shimmer with flecks of gold, verdant greens, and cyan. This small glass wall hanging is perfect for bringing visual interest to that spot in your home that needs added vibrance.
