I have created the “Bird on a Wire”, series out of the simple enjoyment of observing the birds out of my studio window. “She Gets What She Wants” is a hand-painted and fused glass work. The birds look to be resting on wires against a lush and tropical forest. The fused layers add dimension and shimmer with flecks of gold, verdant greens, and cyan. This small glass wall hanging is perfect for bringing visual interest to that spot in your home that needs added vibrance.
