I have created the “Bird on a Wire”, series out of the simple enjoyment of observing the birds out of my studio window. “She’s an Independent” is a hand-painted and fused glass work. The birds look to be resting on wires against a lush and tropical forest. The fused layers add dimension and shimmer in the light.
